Home Office

I don't really have anything to write, but I wish I did.  The DMV and city were pretty good on Monday, but a little exhausting.  Today I went to my lesson, had coffee with a friend, and worked from home.  I think working from home would take a bit of discipline.  If I ended up working from home in the future I think I would like to set up a room that is very specifically an office.  Big desk, supplies, comfortable chair, windows, etc.  Going to a place that is designed for work would be easier in my mind than just sitting down and deciding to work, but I do know it takes a bit of discipline.  Setting deadlines definitely helps.

Here are some pictures of home offices that I found on the internet.  At the end is a picture of my current office. ^_^

  2. P.S. I feel like the owner of the second "home office" has no soul O_O

  3. Thanks Erica! I'm working on some final prep for Japan, but also some work for Dr. Knox, for whom I worked in Ohio as well.

I could kind of see that about the owner of the second office, although I like the windows and the space. Maybe I could add my own flair to it!

I can't wait to get your letter. Talk to you soon!

  4. I disagree with Erica. It's contemporary.
    I like 2, 3, & 4, No. 5 is too formal for
me. A view with trees would be nice, the
ocean even better. What are you doing in
    D. C.?

  5. Elliott will be working in D.C. for the week, and I am pretty much just tagging along to see the city. I've only been there once and I didn't get to see any of the sites! Also, while he's at work it'll give me a chance to catch up on some reading, writing, exploring, and work for the Dr. K. ^_^ To the side of the post is a poll. You should vote for your favorite offices there! Also, I have added an e-mail subscription section. I don't know how to use it well yet, so give it a try and we'll see if it works.

  6. Cancel my vote! I voted for #2 and it was
counted as #1. Must have made a mistake.

  7. Something funny happened with the poll... I changed it so that everyone can only vote once. Maybe that will help fix the problem? Try it again...

  8. Sorry guys... I think things are being kind of faulty at the moment... I took off the poll again but if you're interested you could just say what you think. :P
