Etsy

I am currently obsessed with this website: www.etsy.com

It is mostly for artists selling their goods, but there are an assortment of interesting articles and other things on there as well.

For example:

Suitcase bed for dogs.

"Get the look" articles.

Take a look!  I've spent far too much of my day looking at this website...

Christmas has arrived in Japan!

Art tests

A teacher gave me some muffins, so this was supposed to be the thank you card.
She thought they were mushrooms. :)

OSAKA bang

I was "Osaka Bang"ed in class today.  It was pretty funny, because I had forgotten all about this!  Give the video a look, and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Christmas before Thanksgiving this year!

I have relocated my life into my bedroom.  There is only one window in there.

I also bought a poinsettia.  I'm happy to have a reminder of Christmas.  (I know Thanksgiving hasn't even happened yet, but I'm already ready for Christmas.  Actually, I'm ready for spring.  It's going to be a cold winter...)

Just to make sure I had spelled it right, I looked up "poinsettia."  This is what I found-

poinsettia |poinˈset(ē)ə|nouna small Mexican shrub with large showy scarlet bracts surrounding the small yellow flowers, popular as a houseplant at Christmas. Euphorbia (formerly Poinsettia) pulcherrima, family Euphorbiaceae.
Are they able to live well in cold apartments?  At least it was small.. Less than 300 yen.
I've lost count of how many times I've been asked the following questions:
-Are you married?-Are your eyelashes real?

Big and small.

At first, I thought this link was very interesting.  As I kept scrolling through the different levels of the Universe however, I soon became overwhelmed.  It's scary to think about how small we really are.

My weekend in Tokyo, and just after.

My flower corner.

My study area.

The dead roach.  Look how big he/she was!

My personal coffee mug, and the small tea pot at work
Ad on the train to Tokyo.

At the 7 - 5- 3 ceremony.

Flower woman.

Flower man.

My Saitama host-aunt's granddaughter's third year ceremony.

Offering incense.

A zillion course meal.  I forgot to take pictures of two dishes I think.

My ghetto apartment.  You can feel the wind coming in the closed windows.  I taped plastic bags over a few of the windows.  It only kind of helps because the tape keeps coming off.

A blanket stuffed under the curtain.

Cardboard taped to the door.  There is a grate there.  I also put foam around the edges.

Cardboard to stop the wind from coming in the fan vent.  It's Velcro-ed on though so that I can take it down when I use the stove.

Cases

This is a pretty cool idea! A moleskine iPad case.
